Patient Account Representative - Behavioral Health

• Provide accurate account and billing information to relevant departments within specified timelines
• Implement collection measures for uncollected co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance effectively
• Serve as a point of contact regarding benefit determinations within departmental time frames
• Maintain self-pay and post-insurance worklists, ensuring accounts are worked daily and documented properly
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in healthcare collections or related fields preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) to be completed within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
