Adventure awaits you at JCPRD in our Before/After School Care programs! As a Morning Lead Teacher, you will:

• Challenge our next generation with fun and stimulating games, sports, and arts in a Before School Care setting.
• Plan and facilitate opportunities to explore environmental awareness, fitness, health, STEM, creativity, and innovation.
• Engage in special projects, field trips, parties, and other activities based on the interests of the children enrolled.
• Provide children with a safe, enriching, and fun place to be by directing age-appropriate activities for K-6 graders. Training will be provided.
• Salary: $16.00 per hour.

Location options are at various elementary schools in the Olathe School District. The position is Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 8:30 a.m.

• 1 year of experience with school-age children in an organized setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize personal responsibilities and accomplish job tasks with autonomy from close supervision.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
