The Superintendent role at Hayes Drilling Inc. involves overseeing daily on-site operations for construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, and managing project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include supervising field crews, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, managing equipment and material availability, and resolving on-site challenges. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Olathe, KS that requires hands‑on leadership in a dynamic environment, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
Qualifications- Proven experience in construction management, project supervision, and leadership abilities
- Technical knowledge in areas such as drilled shafts, micro-piles, earth retention systems, and excavation support techniques
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills for managing project schedules, budgets, and on‑site operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and coordinate with field crews and stakeholders
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
Prior hands‑on experience with construction equipment and ensuring job site safety is a plus - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in outdoor environments
- Relevant certifications and/or a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
