OverviewThis role is located onsite and requires availability for the 6:00am - 2:30pm CST shift. The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk or Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations, and documenting damages to inventory.
Responsibilities- Obtain and process orders including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.
- Maintain the company stockroom by organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure there is sufficient storage space and staff on hand to manage shipments.
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.
- Handle issues arising in shipping and inventory handling; troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and solve them.
- Place merchandise in a storage system by packaging, lifting items as necessary, and operating lifting equipment and pallet jacks for large goods.
- Convey courtesy, respect, enthusiasm, and positive attitudes in work situations with clients, peers, and visitors.
- Maintain client and associate confidentiality; understand applicable policies and procedures of the department and employee handbook.
- Perform other job-related tasks as directed by the VP of Operation.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable in computer application; experience in retail or manufacturing preferred.
Work is performed indoors with potential exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. May periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level is usually moderate. Prolonged periods of standing at a desk and working on a computer.
