The Salvation Army (Southern) - Up to $17.00/hour - - Responsibilities:
Administers and monitors the day-to-day operations of a small Thrift Store; serves as lead worker to volunteers, beneficiaries, and/or subordinate store personnel; trains and instruct staff in the proper methods and procedures for performing work;
Prepares and delivers bank deposits;
Rings-up sales utilizing a cash register; collects monies, counts change and prepares receipts; prepares and balances the cash drawer;
Maintains the neatness and security of the cash register area; ensures that forms, bags, etc. are adequately stocked;
Recruits and supervises volunteers working in the Thrift Store and warehouse
