High Voltage Lineman w​/CDL Instructor

HIGH VOLTAGE LINEMAN w/CDL INSTRUCTOR

OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee is seeking candidates for a High Voltage Lineman Instructor. This individual will teach courses in one or more of the following areas:
Pole climbing techniques, Overhead Distribution Systems and Transmission Principles. Instruction will also include CDL driver training for students. Candidate must possess the ability to mentor students seeking a career in High Voltage Lineman industry & must have the capability to verbally and physically instruct students on how to do all aspects of the work. Supervise & maintain shop facilities, equipment & materials.

Prepare & maintain course objectives, outlines and lesson plans. Journeyman with Class A CDL required. Associate degree or an approved plan on file to complete degree and minimum of five years of relative work experience required. A criminal background check will be arranged through Human Resources. Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends.

Appointment Length:
Regular Continuous/Until Further Notice

Hiring Range: $50,000 - $55,000
