Java Developer - Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Java Developer - Senior to join their dynamic team. As a Java Developer - Senior, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Identify Verification and Patriot Act Verification initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer - Senior

Location: Austin, TX

• Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications supporting critical verification features for crypto accounts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements efficiently
• Contribute to onboarding and integrating new vendor offerings for future use
• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile development processes to ensure project progress
• Perform testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold software quality standards

• 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and related frameworks
• Proficiency with Spring Boot application framework
• Understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum
• Knowledge of databases, including Mongo
  
  DB and SQL
• Strong testing and debugging skills, with familiarity in JUnit or other Java testing libraries
