Location: Fort Gibson

This position involves directing and supervising security staff, assigning work, and determining priorities. The supervisor will ensure that the highest level of guest service is maintained and will coordinate onsite investigations. This role requires the ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations, maintain relationships with law enforcement, and handle various administrative tasks, including report management and key access.

NOTE, this job is a safety sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or, for active employees, termination, even if they test positive for marijuana and have a valid medical marijuana license.

Qualifications
  • Associate s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of security experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CPR certification required.

  • State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) or Law Enforcement Certification within six months of employment required.

  • State of Oklahoma CLEET armed security guard license required.

  • Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license required.

  • Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.

  • Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and maintaining the chain of evidence.

  • Ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment in all situations.

  • Ability to pass a CNE security-approved custody control and weapons training.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with directing and supervising security staff, assigning work, and determining priorities.

  • Ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained at all times.

  • Ensure compliance with CNE age requirements and policies by reviewing guests’ identification.

  • Prevent guests from entering premises with prohibited items.

  • Coordinate onsite investigations and work with various law enforcement agencies as needed.

  • Maintain a working relationship with local law enforcement, fire, and safety departments.

  • Evaluate and respond to incidents, including performing CPR and first aid procedures when necessary.

  • Review and approve incident reports and provide training on report preparation.

  • Assist in managing employee key access and running related reports.

  • Coordinate security programs with other departments.

  • Use a computerized report management system to input and update information.
