Job Summary
We are seeking an E XPERIENCED AND SKILLED (3 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) Butcher/Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in butchering, knife skills and food production and handling, with a passion for delivering high-quality meat products to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Break down
150 lbs beef caresses with assistance of team members
d prepare various cuts of meat according to specifications.
Provide direction to food processing crew members.
Maintain e cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the meat department.
Follow all company and USDA policies regarding food handling and safety procedures.

Requirements

Ability to break down 100-150 caresses with assistance.
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or culinary roles is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
