Packages, labels, and prices bakery products. Maintains stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls.

• Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods.
• Assists bakery personnel with preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays.
• Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
• Stacks pallets and sorts product into correct locations according to Company efficiency standards and expectations.
• Makes the store clean, safe, and sanitary by following Company safety procedures.
• Provides a friendly and customer‑service‑oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders by phone and in person.

• Read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales.
• Safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as a bread slicer and commercial oven.
• Learn new systems, methods, or processes.
• Use precision and non‑precision hand tools.
• Work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and partners in written and verbal form.
• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Identify potential hazards and place appropriate warning signs or devices.
• Report potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

• Minimum age 18.
• Drivers must be 21 or older to drive for Company business (BGC Business Driver Policy).
• Food Handler certification required.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

• Use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, or ability to focus.
• Require standing or walking continuously.
• Require using hands for reaching, touching or handling continuously.
• Require talking and hearing continuously.
• Require strenuous finger or hand movements frequently.
• Require bending, kneeling, squatting, or stooping frequently.
• Lift objects up to 40 lbs continuously; up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Attendance at work required.

• Work performed in a retail store.
• Frequently exposed to hot surfaces; extreme cold, heat, wet, slippery or damp conditions; equipment with sharp blades or edges; cleaning agents.
• Quiet to moderate noise level.
