We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian that is passionate and determined to help pets and people, enthusiastic about providing the highest level of medicine for our patients and will vow to WOW through service! We welcome either a new graduate DVM that wants to learn and grow their skills, or a seasoned DVM with years of experience. If you are a new graduate, we have many doctors with a lot of years of experience to provide mentorship and support as you start your career!

WHO WE ARE:

Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort is a six-doctor small animal, full-service, general practice located in Norman, Oklahoma. Norman is 20 miles south of Oklahoma City, and is a great place to live and work! Norman, the state's third-largest city, offers small town charm and college town energy as well as the sophisticated eateries, world-class museums and thriving nightlife of much bigger cities.

Our practice centers on high-quality, comprehensive patient care. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals, and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We work as a compassionate, dedicated team to provide full-service veterinary care including examinations, vaccines, surgery, dentistry (including dental radiology), therapeutic laser, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiology, computed tomography (CT), rehabilitation therapy, acupuncture, boarding, and grooming.

We provide convenient and compassionate care for our patients, including overnight care. To complement our doctors, we have experienced licensed support staff, outstanding assistants and client care coordinators, and a strong practice management team to provide additional support.

YOUR MISSION AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

Your mission is to provide exceptional care for our patients and outstanding customer service for our clients. Duties include patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments; medical and surgical services; patient care; record-keeping; and customer relations. Additional education or interest in exotic pet medicine, acupuncture, or rehabilitation therapy is desired but not required. Other qualifications include possessing an interest in continuing your education through company provided educational opportunities, having or being eligible for a veterinary license in the state of Oklahoma, being able to hold both state and federal narcotics licenses, and having or being eligible for accreditation through the USDA APHIS to write health certificates for animal transport.
