Fab Shop Helper Catoosa, OK

The Shop Helper is primarily responsible for helping Equipment Operators on various types of machines within the Fabrication Shop.

• Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”
• Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
• Experience and knowledge of operating saws and other Fabrication Shop machinery.
• Follows prescribed safety standards and regulations.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.

• Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program.

• Must be able to perform tasks at heights.
• Work will include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 60 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.
  
  Heavyliftingwilloftenberequiredtoperformtasks.
• Mustbeabletokneel,squat,andclimb. Work will include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers. Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8-10 hours per day
• Mustbeabletoperformrequireddutiesforextendedperiodsoftime, ofteninsideconfinedspaces.
• Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
