We are seeking an experienced Senior Tool & Die Maker to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. The Senior Tool & Die Maker will build, repair, and maintain progressive, transfer, and/or line dies to ensure high-quality production and minimal downtime.

This role requires strong machining knowledge, die troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Build, assemble, and fit new dies according to engineering specifications and blueprints
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dies to maintain production quality
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies, tools, and fixtures
• Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment as needed
• Perform die spotting, tryouts, adjustments, and fine-tuning
• Diagnose tooling issues during production and implement corrective solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams
• Maintain documentation for repairs and maintenance activities
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

• Minimum 5+ years of Tool & Die experience (building, repairing, maintaining dies)
• Strong ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T
• Knowledge of stamping processes, die mechanics, and tool steels
• Skilled in machining, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and precision measuring tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical training or apprenticeship preferred

• Manufacturing/production floor environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, and extended hand use
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
