Hot Drop Operator - 2500

Reporting To: Clay Mc Alester

Compensation: $19.15 - $20.64 / hour

Responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in the manufacturing process, assembly of products or components according to specifications while ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
• Performs quality checks on assembled pumps and motors to ensure product specifications are met.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

• Works with various hand and power tools.
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
• Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
• Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).

6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
