Our client, a leading organization in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a Critical Environment Technician Lead to join their team. As a Critical Environment Technician Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?- Oversee daily maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, decommissioning, and cabling within the data center environment.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with SLAs, KPIs, and standard procedures.
- Validate work quality, identify root causes of issues, and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Mentor technicians through on-the-job training, delivering technical lessons on procedures such as MOPs, SOPs, and DMOPs.
- Conduct daily safety briefings, ensure compliance with PPE, JHAs, electrical safety standards, and escalate concerns as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a 24x7x365 mission-critical data center environment focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience managing large‑scale mechanical systems such as chilled water, economizers, air handling, and heat rejection.
- Familiarity with electrical infrastructure including UPS, generators, and switch gear.
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
