Regional Solar Site Mgr & ES III - Oklahoma
In the role of Regional Solar Site Manager & Energy Storage IIIat Rumble Solar located near Minco, Oklahoma, you will assume responsibility for all operational facets on the maintenance and repair of the solar plant. This position will also lead the operations and maintenance of multiple Distrbuted Generation solar and storage sites located throughout the Enid, Oklahoma area. Your chief priority will be ensuring the team's safety while concurrently focusing on maximizing performance and profitability per the operational framework.
This will necessitate devising and executing strategies to elevate maintenance practices, diagnostic capabilities, and overall operational efficiency, resulting in heightened customer satisfaction and reduced service expenditures.
Additionally, your duties may encompass:
- Enforcing the implementation of Operational Safety Policy Instructions, ensuring field work aligns with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, promoting sound employee safety practices, and fostering a culture of unparalleled employee safety.
- Actively engaging in and leading Business Lean Six Sigma processes and projects.
- Recruiting, nurturing, retaining, guiding, and advancing resources at sites to uphold professional standards and foster team development within a matrix environment.
- Assuming accountability for all aspects of timely safety and environmental reporting, financial reporting, and inverter availability.
- Collaborating closely with internal Next Era stakeholders to devise and execute operation-focused feedback and solutions for both planned and unplanned maintenance, improvement projects, development initiatives, and financial performance.
- Serving as a positive and professional representative of Next Era Energy within the community and in interactions with customers.
Overseeing the performance of solar utility & distributed generation field operations within the designated contractual scope of responsibilities for external customers and stakeholders. - Travel as needed to support regional assets.
The ideal candidates will embody the following attributes
Possesses either a bachelor's degree in business or engineering or has accumulated six years of equivalent experience in a related field.
At least five years of hands‑on experience in leading field services operations, preferably within utility‑scale solar operations.
Proficiency in collaborating effectively within a complex organizational structure and across all levels of the Company Strong executive presentation skills
Certification as a Six Sigma green belt or a comparable quality assurance qualification
Proficient in network infrastructure, communication protocols, and web technology
Established track record of managing profit and loss responsibilities
Exceptional analytical capabilities and a track record of thriving in cross‑functional and team‑oriented environments.
Leaders in this job are responsible for the daily management and leadership of a solar and storage generation facility. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the solar and storage site.
