Janitor

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

Perform routine cleaning duties of facility, maintain supplies, and inspect building for repairs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Janitor : $15.00 - $21.00

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Janitor Responsibilities Include:

• Cleans and polishes fixtures, surfaces, and trim.

• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.

• Dusts furniture and equipment.

• Washes walls, windows, door panels, and ceiling.

• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.

• Replenishes bathroom supplies.

• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Sets up tables and chairs, as required.

• Maintains supply room and reports supply shortages.

• Inspects and disposes of litter from grounds.

• Inspects building structure for repairs and reports findings.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Janitor Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry level position with little to no previous work experience required.

• Basic written and communication skills.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Ability to understand and carryout written or oral instructions.

• Ability to problem solve and identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
