Sr. Specialist- Solution Delivery Infrastructure Services- AWS​/Azure

In this role, you will work in close collaboration with Architecture, Security, Engineering and Operations teams to implement new infra solutions, ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with at least 8-15 years of experience to join our dynamic and fast‑paced team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with AWS, VMWare, MS Azure, Gen AI, Networking, Storage, and Containerization.

• Create and lead solution designs for internal customers and help scoping of requirements to meet business needs.
• Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.
• Interact with various stakeholders at the business functional level and provide assistance on any infrastructure-related issues in collaboration with teams.
• Understand the business requirements, design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions as per Novartis Infrastructure standards.
• Proficiency on AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Front, EBS, EFS, ASG, IAM, ELB, Data sync, Route
  53, EKS, ECS, etc.
• Good knowledge of MS Azure, Gen AI and related services.
• Ensure overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services.
• Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose.
• Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of software/service.

• Bachelor’s degree and more than 8 years of experience with a strong technical background.
• Proven experience working on large and complete projects in a matrix environment covering a wider spectrum of technologies.
• Proven experience as an AWS/Azure Solution Architect and Dev Ops, preferably within the life sciences industry.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex, hybrid infrastructure solutions including PaaS, IaaS and on‑premises datacenter.
• Familiar with regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to the life sciences industry, such as GxP, HIPAA and FDA regulations.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently in an ad hoc environment.
