Experis IT is partnered with the world's leading provider of secure financial messaging services in their search for a Senior Dev Sec Ops Engineer to join their team in Manassas, VA.
* This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in Manassas, VA*
We seek a highly experienced Senior Dev Sec Ops Engineer (10-15-years experience at a minimum) to support the development, deployment, and ongoing operation of Platform Services in our Azure Landing Zone (LZ) environment. The engineer will help build and maintain secure, compliant, and fully automated cloud platform capabilities used to run regulated financial-services workloads.
This role is ideal for consultants who specialize in Azure, Kubernetes, Dev Sec Ops , and automation and are comfortable working in high-control, multi-region, security-first cloud environments.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities:- Azure Landing Zone Engineering - Design, build, and deploy Azure Landing Zone platform and workload pipelines with Infrastructure-as-Code templates implementing required standards and policy compliant infrastructure for running regulated financial services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and/or Azure Dev Ops.
- Java application build pipelines (Maven/Gradle).
- Docker image builds, scanning, and publishing.
- Helm chart or manifest-based AKS deployments.
- Integrate automated security checks (SAST, container scanning, policy compliance, approvals).
- Develop scripts and automation tooling using Linux shell, Python, or Power Shell.
- Competence in design, deployment and Monitoring of Kubernetes & Container Platform, Networking & Security Tools is required.
- Responsibilities include monitoring and support with ops dashboards and Workbooks.
- Support incident response, performing root-cause analysis, and automating remediation workflows.
