Enterprise QA Lead - Data & AI

Our client, a leading organization in data-driven solutions, is seeking an Enterprise QA Lead - Data & AI to join their team. As an Enterprise QA Lead - Data & AI, you will be part of the Data & AI / Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Enterprise QA Lead - Data & AI

Location: Adelphi, MD

Pay Range: $56/hr

• Establish and lead a dedicated QA function supporting the Enterprise Data & AI Platform, defining roles across data, BI, and automation testing.
• Develop and implement standardized QA processes, templates, and best practices for testing data pipelines, ML workflows, APIs, and dashboards.
• Mentor team members in data quality validation, SQL-based testing, and tools such as Databricks, Purview, and Profisee.
• Manage test plans and execute testing activities for data pipelines, ML models, BI dashboards, and data integrations.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring readiness for production releases and gathering actionable feedback.

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles within data platform and analytics project environments, with proven leadership in building and managing QA teams.
• Hands-on expertise testing data pipelines, BI tools, and AI/ML workflows on Databricks.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for test automation and data validation.
• Experience managing UAT processes with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with API testing, data governance tools such as Azure Purview and Profisee, and working within a SAFe Agile environment.
