Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist

Join our team at Win Star World Hotel as a Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist. Your responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, performing routine inspections, and ensuring all hotel systems and facilities remain in excellent condition. You will work a mix of swing (3 pm‑11 pm) and overnight (11 pm‑7 am) shifts, independently and collaboratively to deliver flawless guest experiences.

• Deliver outstanding guest service with a warm attitude and quick solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance (replacing light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc.).
• Monitor and maintain essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.
• Perform regular pool checks and maintenance to keep the pool guest‑ready.
• Touch up guest areas and fixtures to keep them fresh and polished.
• Conduct routine safety and security inspections and respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping to ensure smooth communication and satisfaction.

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general troubleshooting.
• Independent problem‑solving ability and proactive decision‑making during shifts.
• Positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Tech‑savvy:
  Comfortable using digital systems for tracking and reporting work.

• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures.
• Possible exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors around the hotel.
