Accountancy practice recruitment specialists, Clark Wood, are currently working with a reputable and progressive firm of chartered accountants in Blackburn who are keen to grow their developing Corporate Finance department through the addition of a Corporate Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Corporate Finance Managers and Partners, you will play a pivotal role in the provision of a broad array of advisory services to clients including finance/funds raising, mergers & acquisitions, business valuations and sales, investments, and due diligence projects among others.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified and will existing Corporate Finance experience, whether that be in a solely CF focused role, or having worked on ad-hoc projects as art of a wider practice role.

• Provide advice on acquisitions and disposals; debt and equity fundraising; and valuations
• Support the marketing activities of the Corporate Finance department both internally and externally
• Present a positive image of CF both internally and externally
• Assist the CF Partners and Directors to target new work and to pitch for new work
• Work with the CF team in researching companies and industries to assist in acquisition searches and disposal mandates
• Work with the CF team in modelling MBO and refinancing opportunities
• Preparation, development and refinement of financial models for businesses
• Report writing - business plans, sales memoranda, valuation reports, etc
• Undertaking valuations of businesses

• ACA / ACCA / CA Qualified
• Corporate Finance background as well as previous audit and/or accounts experience
