Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for receiving monies for green fees, carts, shop sales, and tournaments.
- Responsible for keeping the working area in a neat and orderly manner.
- At times you must exercise independent judgment to handle situations which might arise in the golf shop.
- Operate a computerized or electronic register system & issues receipts for each transaction.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, and the employee may be exposed to tobacco smoke, noise, and extreme weather conditions.
- Greets customers in a pleasant and courteous manner.
- Provides golf course information to customers (i.e., tee times, upcoming tournaments, prices, policies, etc.).
- Vacuum and dust pro shop area daily.
- Answers multi-line telephone in a professional manner.
- Accounts for collection of green fees by completing daily reports, daily deposits and getting change at bank.
- Assist in direction all play on the golf course.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
- Outstanding example of and a credit to downstream Casino Resort.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Must be 18 years of age, high school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of/experience in and/or ability to use business telephone manners and techniques.
- Knowledge of/experience in and/or ability to operate computerized/electronic register systems, count money and make change accurately.
- Ability to meet and deal effectively with the public. Pleasing personality required.
- Must possess the ability to be both firm and tactful in enforcing golf facility policies.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruption.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously or in rapid succession.
- Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work required.
- Require a person to be courteous, helpful, and highly self-motivated and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, and the public.
- Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand grammar and the punctuation of English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/ alcohol screen and background investigation. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of the background investigation and drug screening.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be approved for and maintain a level one registration.
The Downstream Casino Resort adheres to all applicable Resolutions of the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. Native American Preference policy does apply.
