Event Manager / Planner
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for Gaming Operations in all departmental initiatives related hiring, training, and process/procedure development.
Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls.
Exercises sound judgment and make reasonably prudent business decisions with the ability to adequately work through difficult problems and situations.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.
Counsels, guides, coaches and assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties. Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance review of assigned personnel.
Conducts Performance Reviews and guides Slots and Table Games Supervisors in the preparation of performance reviews.
Handling employees' complaints or grievances
Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees
Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws
Works with surveillance and other departments to aid in the protection of assets and maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of Slot operations.
Establishes and maintains departmental procedures that will ensure proper protection of all gaming operations from loss due to mistake or theft.
Counsels, guides, evaluates and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties.
Coach and direct reports in pertinent skills of operations, administration and promotes effective utilization of equipment and manpower.
Authorizes guest comps to recognize loyal players in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure all guests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within the established guidelines.
All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around ("head on a swivel");
look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are "on stage".
Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able requirement to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures debit.
Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
Must be able to work a reasonable amount ofურვ overtime when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
