Position: Special Education Teacher of the Hearing Impaired

Reports to: Director of Student Programs

To provide Special Education Services for students who meet the criteria for Extended School Year.

• Follows the procedures, practices and guidelines outlined by the school, district, State and Federal laws intended to keep students healthy and safe.
• Provides Vision Services as outlined on the student’s Individualized Education Plan.
• Prepares materials and equipment prior to the beginning of the service.
• Plans consistently to address the students diverse learning needs.
• Plans with other members of the team.
• Facilitates the use of assistive technology to enhance student learning and participation.
• Engages the student in active learning and uses a variety of strategies to support learning.
• Prepares Progress Report at the end of ESY and enters all information relative to the student in EdPlan.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment: June 1, 2026 - June 25, 2026 (17 days during this timeframe)
