Training Instructor; Aircraft Maintenance Security Clearance

Position: TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE) with Security Clearance
Location: Albert

Duties
* Instruct students through assigned units of instruction at basic and/or advanced levels.
* Develops and/or revises lesson plans and training materials for aircraft pneudraulic curriculum.
* Monitors and evaluates student progress and performance.
* Inputs necessary data into the Field Training Management System (FTMS).
* Maintains professional and technical expertise. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Assigned courses are accredited by the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). Incumbent must have an associate degree from an accredited school.
* Position may require travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY.
* May be required to work on special projects as directed by the supervisor.
* Employee must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
* A pre-employment physical is required for this position. Section 9315 of 10 USC directs the commander of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to comply with standards established by the Secretary of Education to confer associate degrees upon enlisted members who have completed the requirements for the prescribed programs of study. To comply with this directive, all faculty members of the Community College of the Air Force must meet minimum educational requirements as prescribed by the accrediting body Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), i.e. all teachers must hold at least an associate's degree in order for the school to meet accreditation criteria.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of instruction. Knowledge of training aids and devices used in training programs. Knowledge of instructional design and materials development for assigned courses. Knowledge of tests and measurement principles, techniques, and objectives.

Knowledge of computer applications. OR

EDUCATION:

Successfully completed a Master's, or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited college or university or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position of a Training Instructor. My education demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a Training Instructor.
