Cordell Public Schools is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as our next Junior High/High School Principal. We are looking for a visionary and student-centered administrator who will provide strong instructional leadership, foster a positive school culture, and work collaboratively with an assistant Principal, staff, students, families, and the community to promote academic achievement and student growth.

Position Overview

The Junior High/High School Principal will lead daily school operations while championing a safe, supportive, and high-performing learning environment. This individual will play a key role in implementing district initiatives, supporting teacher development, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong instructional leadership focused on improving student achievement

Oversee daily school operations and ensure effective campus management

Implement district initiatives and policies with fidelity

Support, mentor, and evaluate certified staff to promote professional growth

Supervise and evaluate support staff, ensuring accountability and high performance

Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school culture

Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Build strong partnerships with families and the community

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Required Qualifications Valid Oklahoma administrative certification

Proven leadership experience in secondary education preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated commitment to student success and continuous improvement

Ability to lead with integrity, professionalism, and accountability

Strong organizational and decision-making skills
