The Workforce Development Instructor is responsible for teaching and facilitating curriculum that leads to industry-recognized certifications at Luna Community College. This role is essential for delivering high-quality, market-relevant course offerings to the community.

• Develop and deliver engaging, high-impact instruction that prepares students for industry-recognized certifications.
• Ensure all instructional activities are conducted safely and in strict compliance with LCC and industry-specific specialty standards.

• Demonstrated expertise and current certification in the relevant subject matter.
• Strong verbal communication and pedagogical skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

  Sufficient expertise and professional experience necessary to instruct the specific course subject.

  Must hold all necessary credentials required to grant students the eligibility to sit for industry-recognized certification exams.

• Part-Time Status:
  This position is limited to 19 hours per week or less for courses exceeding a three-month duration within a calendar year.
• Contractor Status:
  For short-term courses, the employee will be classified as an independent contractor and issued a 1099.
