Early Childhood Teacher

Hope Preschool is a community-based, not-for-profit full-day early childhood centre in Mataura, Southland.

Our biblical philosophy and values guide our operations, curriculum and teaching practice. We are licenced for 45 children and maintain a waiting list. We would love to hear from teachers who can contribute to our philosophy and make a difference in the lives and learning of families and children.

We have a full-time position (40 hours per week) available, 9:00am – 5:30pm in our Kākano room for younger children.

We provide team members with:

• An opportunity to continue building pedagogical knowledge and skills and share those with others.

• A purpose-built teaching and learning environment, with a generous outdoor area.
• One hour of non-contact per day and fortnightly staff meetings.
• Full Pay Parity, paid first aid and paid teacher registration.

We require both qualifed ECE and Primary teachers and unqualified educators for relief teaching as required.
