This position is one of dual purpose. They are to be able to teach, preach and spiritually lead this body while at the same time be able to lead the worship team in such a way as to bring glory to God and meet the needs of this congregation and community.

• Provide leadership in any area needed for FBC Anadarko.
• Ability to develop and lead discipleship activities, studies or projects. Should be drawn to help others grow in their faith. Having the ability to establish both short and long-range goals would be a great asset.
• Biblically sound (Baptist Faith and Doctrine) so as to teach, lead small/large groups, and/or preach. Discipleship is an area that all churches need to strengthen our present walk with Jesus Christ.
• Have the desire to love the church as Christ loved it. Being able to establish relationships while leading this body is a must.
• Able to work with different ministries, ministers and people for the benefit of God’s Kingdom. Some roles will be leadership while others will be servant roles.
• Assisting the pastor in teaching and preaching. This could include funerals and/or weddings.
• Assisting pastor and staff in any needs this church body may have. This role will be reciprocated by the other staff as well.

• They will plan, coordinate and evaluate the comprehensive music program.
• Must be able to organize the worship team and spiritually lead them in such a way that their relationship with Christ will be strengthened.
• Organize worship sets weekly and direct rehearsals weekly.
• Work with the pastor and other ministers in special services such as Christmas, Child Dedication, revivals, and other special times in the life of the church.
• Be able to set and maintain a budget for this area of ministry.
• Constantly on the look-out to grow and improve this ministry through recruiting and training of the worship band and singers.

This position will be directly responsible to the congregation through the personnel committee. They will be under the direct supervision of the pastor.
