Departmental Overview

Norman Regional Primary Care is built for healing with a focus on high quality, comprehensive preventative care. We are looking for outstanding patient friendly people to come be a part of our diverse, patient-centered, and community-focused team. We are a high-paced, high-volume department with engaged leadership offering opportunities for advancement, comprehensive coordinated care, and additional educational opportunities. NRHS is in the process of a transformational expansion project that will prioritize outpatient care with a continued focus on population health across the region.

• Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
• Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
• Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
• Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
• Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Completion of an IM or FM residency program

• Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked
• Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency
