Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to fill the role of Election Preparation Specialist. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced using current Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe products, and will have shown the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a proficiency in proofreading are required.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

  • Preference given to applicants with election administration experience
  • Ability/experience with audio recording, including knowledge of procedures and software and ability to successfully record audio wave files and narration.
  • Ability to prepare and present materials to small or large groups
  • Experience learning and using new software products

Required:

  • Detail-oriented
  • High-level organizational skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency using current Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced-level proofreading skills
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently or to collaborate with members of a team
