An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Inpatient Mental Health Services, for a Ward Administrator to join our admin team on a part-time, permanent basis
We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills, ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communication with staff, servicer users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office packages and possess a good telephone manner.
You will have the skills to enable live minute taking to take place as well as general minute taking skills.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality clinical support service.
The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem solving is an integral part of the role.
The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach. The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.

Person Specification Qualifications- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience
- Good level of general education including Mathematics and English at GCSE or equivalent.
- Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network.
- Intermediate knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.
- Work in an office environment
- Working as part of a team
- Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
- Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using e-mail, telephone or face to face.
