Position OverviewBrij Cement is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Junior Accountant for its Factory Office in Bhairahawa. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger management.
- Support preparation of financial statements and periodic reports.
- Assist in VAT, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and clarification.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure proper filing and safeguarding of financial documents.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (BBS/BBA preferred).
Experience2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in manufacturing or factory setting preferred).
Required Skills- Knowledge of accounting principles and Nepalese taxation system.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a factory‑based environment.
