CompensationSalary up to $57,500 based on education and experience.
Job DescriptionAs an Accounts Receivable Accountant with OMES you will enjoy:

Support the Finance team
Salary up to: $57,500 based on education and experience
Prepares, records, and reviews deposits in People Soft Accounts Receivable system. *
Reviews and records clearing account transfers in People Soft Accounts Receivable system. *
Remote Deposit Capture check scanning. *
Prepares and issues monthly billing invoices (including interest calculations). *
Researches, identifies and claims client agency grant revenue. *
Processes daily deposit reconciliations and preparation of appropriate accounting entries.
Receives correspondence from client agencies either from physical mail, electronic delivery service, telephone, or in person. *
Accurately keys and processes data into People Soft. *
Processes and distributes information to multiple sources. *
Performs other customer service-related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a closely related field, or equivalent; or
Four (4) years of clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience; or
A combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience for each year of the required degree.
Experience with People Soft or other ERP systems.
