Specialist Accountancy practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of accountants who are looking to add an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team in Blackburn.
As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.
The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have already begun studying towards the ACA or ACCA qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities- Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
- Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
- Assist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises
- AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Students or Part Qualified
- Experience of assisting on audit assignments
