Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

• Distribution receiving experience and/or order fulfillment experience a plus!
• Receiving all equipment and smallwares
• Assist with staging when needed
• Work closely with Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Agent
• Must be comfortable with computer inventory systems and able to learn quickly
• Maintain a strong daily work pace
• Demonstrate an upbeat, positive and cooperative manner
• Have the desire to promote good team interaction
• Consistently practice reliability and the willingness to assist others as needed
• Lifting and physical effort is required for gathering materials in a warehouse environment (50
  
  Lbs)
• Operate forklift
• Must be able to use Microsoft Excel
• Some Saturday overtime opportunities available to stay current
• Willingness to help others when needed
• Keep receiving up-to-date daily

• Must have reliable transportation and work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
• Starting pay range is $23.50-$25.50/hr
• 3+ years Receiving experience preferred
• Able to work well individually and within a team - self-motivated
• Willingness to help in other areas of the warehouse or emergency delivery if needed
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Pass drug test
• Pass background check
• Pass driver's test (insurability)
• Training time might require slightly longer days
• Work overtime when needed
• Learn and retain knowledge of all job tasks and procedures
• Attention to details and work pace
• Maintain high levels of productivity
• Good listening and communication skills
• The upper warehouse does get very warm in the summer, and cold in the winter
