Warehouse Order Selector​/Picker

Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. Fills orders for grocery stores. Selects orders using a pallet jack and a voice-activated headset. Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties according to specified work rate requirements.

This is a safety sensitive position.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 90 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

The employee may also be required to work 12+ hours a day for 4-5 consecutive days.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

WE PERFORM PRE-PLACEMENT & RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING.

Starting pay $20.24 an hour and over $28 an hour at four years.

• Manual case selection using Lucas headset system and double electric pallet jack.
• Take orders to loading dock for shipment.
• Shift starts at 9:00am and goes until the work is complete.

• Must be 18 or older and able to work weekends.
• Must be able to pass a 90 lbs over the head lift test.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 90 lbs.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures (from room temp to
  -30°).
