Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transporting donated goods, new goods, and target products.

Essential Job Functions

Delivers donations, equipment, supplies to Goodwill stores. Picks up salvage and trash from stores and brings it back to the main plant.

Pick up donations from Attended Donation Centers.

Maintain daily log of activities.

Load and unload trucks.

Make special pickups on Saturday or Sunday.

Pick up and deliver interoffice correspondence between the plant and stores.

Assist in production or warehousing when time allows.

Abide by the policies and procedures set forth by management and GICO.

Attend all necessary training.

Review and familiarize with Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs, and procedures. Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training sessions and meetings.

Consult with company drivers to ensure route efficiency and timeliness.

Punctual and dependable attendance.

Maintain a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and the public.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Clear communication skills with supervisors, store personnel, and the public.
Ability to work well with helpers and co-workers, follow instructions from supervisors.
Ability to read and complete paperwork.
Maintain a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Class B, C.D.L. Oklahoma license required.
Good driving record and pass MVR check.
Ability to drive a standard (manual shift) truck.
At least 1-2 years over-the-road experience.
Must pass driver assessment.
