Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transporting donated goods, new goods, and target products.

Essential Job Functions
  • Delivers donations, equipment, supplies to Goodwill stores. Picks up salvage and trash from stores and brings it back to the main plant.
  • Pick up donations from Attended Donation Centers.
  • Maintain daily log of activities.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Make special pickups on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Pick up and deliver interoffice correspondence between the plant and stores.
  • Assist in production or warehousing when time allows.
  • Abide by the policies and procedures set forth by management and GICO.
  • Attend all necessary training.
  • Review and familiarize with Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs, and procedures. Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training sessions and meetings.
  • Consult with company drivers to ensure route efficiency and timeliness.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Maintain a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and the public.
  • Additional Responsibilities

    Performs other duties as required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Clear communication skills with supervisors, store personnel, and the public.
    • Ability to work well with helpers and co-workers, follow instructions from supervisors.
    • Ability to read and complete paperwork.
    • Maintain a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and the public.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Class B, C.D.L. Oklahoma license required.
    • Good driving record and pass MVR check.
    • Ability to drive a standard (manual shift) truck.
    • At least 1-2 years over-the-road experience.
    • Must pass driver assessment.
