** Position Essential Functions
*** Measures to ensure due process to employers and claimants according to the state guidelines as noted in the OESC Act, and federal guidelines as noted by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL).
* Conduct fact finding with claimants and employers via phone, mail and e-mail to gather information needed to issue a non-monetary decision that meets benefits, timeliness and quality measures as prescribed by the guidelines of the USDOL.
* Add potential issues when deemed necessary for the adjudication process (or release them).
* Enter claimant over payments; ensure proper and complete documentation is in the file for the appeal process.
* Responsible for the completion and accuracy of all data entry into the computer system and to the Claim Record Card of each file.  Data should be entered completely and accurately, and all non-monetary determinations should be written in a manner that can easily be understood by both claimants and employers.
* Follow the required OESC’s safety / security protocols.
* Participate in required Division training regimen.
* On-site attendance is an essential function of the position, as the role requires direct interaction with staff, clients, and on-site office resources. These job functions, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.#
