We are currently seeking a Welder for our Oklahoma City, OK location.
PURPOSEDesigns, fabricates, joins, and repairs equipment, fixtures, and structures by using various welding techniques.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Plans and performs welding assignments to include fabrication, maintenance, joining, and cutting of ferrous and nonferrous metal parts and structures using a variety of techniques
- Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments; performs a variety of welding processes such as gas, arc, brazing, silver soldering, soft soldering and similar on a limited variety of materials such as stainless, aluminum, steel, copper, brass, exotics, etc
- Performs layout operation, develops fixtures on one‑of‑a‑kind units, and selects optimum welding processes; operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes, and other welder equipment and hand tools
- Monitors and reports inventory levels; recommends supplies and materials to be ordered
- May perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching, template making
- Performs MIG, TIF, and Stick welding as well as Brazing (Carbide welding) and plasma cutting

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
