Installation Technician, General Labor
Position Summary
We are seeking skilled, detail‑oriented Low Voltage Technicians to join our nationwide rollout team. Technicians will work in 2‑person teams to complete structured cabling installations, operate lifts, document work, and ensure high‑quality craftsmanship at every site. Candidates must be reliable, organized, and capable of meeting nightly project goals while overcoming on‑site challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Cable instillation – Proficient in running and terminating Cat5 and Cat6 network cables in commercial environments.
- Commercial‑grade CCTV installation, including mounting cameras, running video/data cables, and connecting to recording systems.
- Installing access control hardware such as card readers, electric strikes, and control panels.
- Installing and configuring wireless access points, including proper placement for optimal coverage.
- Operating scissor lifts and boom lifts safely and efficiently for elevated installations.
- Using hand and power tools such as drills, cable testers, and crimping tools.
- Interpreting basic construction drawings and cable layouts.
- Knowledge of job site safety protocols, including PPE usage and fall protection.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other trades and supervisors.
- Eagerness to receive training and grow within structured cabling and low‑voltage systems.
- Nationwide travel with a partner or team to various distribution centers, warehouses, fulfillment centers, and similar commercial sites.
- Required to be on the road full‑time for 2–3 month projects, with potential extensions.
- Orientation includes: assigned tools, traveling partner or team, route, and company vehicle.
- Compensation: hourly rate + overtime + tax‑free per diem ($125 daily; $80 lodging, $45 meals; hotel booking fee $80 if using client services). Per diem administered on weekly pay checks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
