Maintenance Technician C (I)
Transdev in Oklahoma is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our fleet.
Benefits- Compensation: minimum $25.58 – maximum $30.10 per hour
- Vacation: minimum 2 weeks per year

- Company‑paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement
- Perform repairs and replacements on diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics with advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Execute routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
- Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- ASE certification required; program provided.
- Full mechanic’s tool set.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules.
- CDL preferred; support provided to obtain one if lacking.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical exam if applicable.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions. 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); walk long distances, often on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Endure heavy traffic areas and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
