Engineering Technician

. We need a skilled engineer to perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation services for aircraft equipment across multiple FAA and FAALC product divisions. Travel requirements: up to 70% of the time.

• Repair and overhaul antenna components, rotary joint drives, and circuit boards.
• Produce and repair electronic cables, wire harnesses, and test fixtures.
• Perform equipment performance analyses, data collection, and reporting.
• Adjust, test, and certify equipment according to FAA and FAALC standards.
• Install and modify electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on NAS and other inter‑agency assets.
• Maintain tower structures, radomes, and other high‑access components.
• Operate boom‑man lifts, motorized forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Complete daily data entry in the Data Collection and Reporting System.
• Participate in required safety training, precision maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities.

• High School Diploma or GED with formal technical training.
• Physical fitness: minimum 125 lb, maximum 290 lb.
• Eligible for a Public Trust clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Two unexpired forms of government‑issued .

• Experience with rope‑repelling and high‑access work.
• Knowledge of FAA systems and procedures.
• Proficiency operating boom lifts and forklifts.
• Completion of trip reports and emergency call‑out experience.
