Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining the internal and external facility physical assets of the property.
Move Forward with Us- Support the manufacturing process and the facility by maintaining or repairing equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance and planned maintenance projects in a timely and safe manner.
- Participate in improvement events
- Keep machine and facility records up to date.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes.
- Maintain working order of necessary repair equipment and tools.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

What you need: Skills and Abilities
- Experience with maintenance equipment to include fork lift, snow clearing equipment, welding and machine shop equipment.
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test equipment, and hand tools.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and written with co-workers, other departments and outside vendors.
Education and Experience
- Equivalent of four years of high school (required).
- Completion of trade school or equivalent completing certificate in facilities maintenance (required).
- Three to four years of experience in manufacturing and facility support maintenance.
- Basic:
Computer, electronic mail and utilization of the internet for research purposes.
- None.
- Regularly to sit, talk, or hear.
- Frequently to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally to stand, walk, climb, or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
