Field Service Technician

job summary:
Industrial machinery manufacturer in Oklahoma City is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electro-mechanical equipment, and be able to travel up to 60-70% both nationally and internationally. Excellent salary and overtime and home most weekends!

responsibilities:

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of machinery and equipment on customer site according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests to resolve equipment issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Provide service by studying system requirements, ordering, and gathering components and parts, completing installation
• Perform acceptance tests and maintain rapport with customers.
• Document service and complete reports and maintain service database
• Respond to service calls
• Travel to customer sites to perform installation, troubleshooting and repair 60-70%, some international travel required

• Excellent mechanical skills required; ability to troubleshoot Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical issues.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate equipment operating systems.
• Professionalism to interact with customers and attention to quality
• Ability to travel up to 70%, home most weekends
