Security Systems Project Lead Technician

RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY WITH RELOCATION ASSISTANCE OF UP TO $10,000! This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and qualified candidates must live or relocate to the OKC area.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead Technician to join our operations in the Oklahoma City (OKC) area. Digi Security Systems will provide relocation assistance of up to $10,000 for qualified candidates who would like to join our excellent team that supports the western OK territory. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Access Control, CCTV, and Burglary/Intrusion Alarm Systems
, and at least five (5) years of experience in the commercial security systems field. Candidates must have hands-on experience with commercial access control systems such as Avigilon and Genetec. As a Project Lead, you will serve as the site supervisor and installation manager, overseeing a team of Digi technicians and ensuring the successful execution of large‑scale commercial security system installations.

The starting pay rate is $31/hr+, negotiable based on experience. This is a great opportunity to lead impactful projects while contributing to a growing team in a dynamic market.

Main Responsibilities
  • Planning: Establish and communicate daily project installation goals with the team and the Project Coordinator. Must understand and adhere to project timelines and associated hours.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and track project equipment from the branch Inventory Coordinator.
  • Installation: Responsible for the professional installation of cabling, access control components, CCTV systems, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems. Lead by example by upholding the highest installation standards in the industry, and hold the team accountable to professional standards.
  • Leadership: Provide on‑job training and mentoring on‑site to team technicians. Ensure all safety requirements are met by the team. Ensure equipment and materials on job sites at partner locations are accounted for and the project site is cleaned and secured each day before closing work.
  • Communication: Respectfully communicate with all local Partner staff on daily progress and all necessary information. Update the Project Coordinator daily on the progress for projects, and report project revenue goals and progress to the Project Coordinator.
  • Documentation: Complete project close‑out documentation, including as‑built drawings, head end and installation quality pictures.
  • 30 hours PTO plus 2 weeks vacation accrual rate
  • 3 weeks vacation accrual rate after first year of employment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work from ladders or man‑lifts at extended heights.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods and complete overhead work for long periods.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and meet company driving standards.
