The Field Technician Foreman – API 653, under direction of the Operations Manager has the primary job function to lead and facilitate the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 related services including robotic inspections of above ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.

• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that safety procedures are being followed and equipment is in proper working order.
• Performing all inspections in accordance with API 653 and other related standards.
• Documenting all inspection activities in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
• Recommending repairs and performing inspection of completed repair work, as appropriate.
• Managing accurate and professional communications with both customers and the office.
• Managing and directing the field crew to efficiently complete each project.
• Making quick decisions on the job to ensure successful completions of projects.
• Completing all required training within company guidelines.

• Have 5 years field inspection experience.
• Be API-653 Certified.
• Have the ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers.
• Must be willing to travel (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air.
• Have excellent communications skills both orally and in writing.
• Have the ability to pass background and drug testing, including ongoing random testing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, passport, and TWIC card (homeland security).
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
• Must have knowledge or be certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.

• The pay range for this position is between 17.96 - 30.31 - 42.66 USD Hourly.
