incumbents are assigned responsibilities involving the inspection of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards, enforcement of laws, rules and regulations and providing security at griffin memorial hospital. Typical work duties may include patrolling assigned premises to identify and correct fire hazards; providing assistance to employees or visitors; directing traffic; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.

level ii: completion of a basic security and/or firefighter's course, and 2 years of experience in security or fire prevention and protection work.
special requirements- conditional offer: must submit to a physical examination meeting lifting/carrying 60 pounds occasionally, and able to push and pull a maximum force of 30 pounds.

griffin memorial hospital annex (gmh annex) is located in oklahoma city, oklahoma, on the site of the former hillcrest hospital. This 30-bed facility provides compassionate, recovery-focused care for individuals who are pretrial defendants found incompetent to stand trial, as well as those adjudicated not guilty by reason of insanity (ngri) or not guilty by reason of mental illness (ngrmi). The gmh annex is dedicated to helping each person achieve stability, restore competency, and successfully transition to the next stage of their recovery journey.
