About the Role
Looking for a job where you can make a real difference? At Epworth Villa, our temporary Safety Officers do more than patrol the grounds-they offer peace of mind, lend a helping hand, and help maintain a warm, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of up to 12 weeks.
What You'll Do
- Patrol campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety and security
- Monitor entry points, secure doors and windows
- Address safety issues and policy violations professionally
- Assist in emergency response efforts
- Escort residents and staff upon request
- Support front desk operations when needed
- Maintain detailed logs of rounds, incidents, and observations
- Be a friendly, reassuring presence on campus
- Dependable and calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in safety/security is a plus, but not required
- Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Use of our on-site fitness center
- Discounted meals in our restaurants
